Balance strength, mobility, and rest
This embodied mindfulness practice offers a variety of feel-good floor poses as well as active standing poses in both dynamic and static applications. Explore familiar and novel balance poses, learn the benefits of subtle breathing, and cultivate space for stillness, quiet, and deep rest.

While this class is beneficial for those with restrictions or injuries, gentle yoga is not just a second choice when active practice isn’t possible. Instead, this class suggests entirely different goals and intentions. Instead of an always-on or always-off practice, explore the beauty of something in the middle.

No previous yoga or meditation experience is necessary.

Gentle Yoga + Sound Bath

Experience the magic of sound meditation!

Enjoy the beauty of a balanced yoga practice that leads you into a deep relaxation and sound meditation. Class will begin with a gentle yoga sequence that combines energizing active poses with quieting restorative poses. Modifications will be offered and you will be empowered to find what feels good as you reconnect with and nurture your body.
​
Then you'll settle into a comfortable relaxation pose as you bathe in the sounds of Himalayan singing bowls and other soothing instruments that will transport you into a meditative state of relaxation.

No previous experience is necessary, appropriate for all. Wear comfortable clothing and bring your own yoga mat or towel.

Join your fellow Bloomies for a special yoga class to celebrate Bloom Yoga Studio's 20th anniversary.
This all-levels gentle yoga class will take you through a slow sequence of satisfying poses that promote strength, mobility, and balance. With conscious breathing and accessible experiences of mindfulness interspersed throughout the practice, you'll leave with a feeling of rejuvenation. Experience connection to yourself and to a beautiful community of like-minded folks.
Appropriate for all levels of experience; modifications will be offered to make the practice work for you.

Virtual Restorative Yoga for Holiday Stress
Avoid holiday busyness by carving out time to slow down​
The holidays are often overly busy and emotionally complicated. Add to that the fact that your self-care routines get turned on their head and you have a recipe for stress at a time that's supposed to be joyful.
Get a jump start on the holiday season by carving out a little bit of time to intentionally slow down and consider how you'd like to approach the last few weeks of 2024.

This practice will begin with some gentle movement and breath to prepare your body for a deep rest in long-held restorative poses. Woven throughout the experience will be tips for how to reconsider your approach to the holidays with wellness in mind.
​
No previous experience is necessary, appropriate for all. Gather your favorite home yoga props (pillows and blankets work great!), wear comfortable clothing, and prepare for a deep rest.

Can't attend live or want to watch it again? All registered participants will have access to the recording for 2 weeks after the session date.
